Are you tired of boring, flat city races? Want to add a little bit of 'oomph' to your running experience?

Grab your trail shoes and pack your sense of adventure because the Forest Ranch 4, the 2nd race in the Loco Trail Race Series, is here to spice up your April!

Register now for the first, and only, foot race to go through Forest Ranch, Ca (just a 20ish minute drive from Chico)!

Located in the charming mountain town of Forest Ranch, Ca and tucked away in the lower parts of the Sierra Nevada's, we've got 5 distances for you to choose from. Whether you're feeling like a sweet 4-miler or you want to go big and tackle the 100k, or anything in between, we've got you covered. With mossy trees, creeks running alongside the course, and usually even a little mud to play in, you'll feel like you're in a fairy tale. Wide open dirt trails and logging roads (and even a little no track for the 50k & 100k runners) give runners plenty of space to stretch out and avoid crowds.

And let's not forget about the aid stations, they're like a runner's dream come true, complete with vegan and gluten-free options. The volunteers? They're like superheroes, always ready to lend a helping hand (or some tough love).

But be warned, there are hills...some really hilly hills. Don't worry though, you will be rewarded after your turn around with mostly downhill-ish to the finish. Don't miss the quaint little foot bridges, including Blue Bridge (aptly named because it's blue) near mile 2. It's like a mini adventure in itself.

The best part? The race is dog friendly!

We welcome all well-behaved pups, and their responsible parents, to join in the fun.

And all runners will be rewarded with a warm, ooey gooey grilled cheese Sammie and soup at the finish line, plus a medal and, for those 21 and over, an ice-cold beer) all included with your registration. Don't miss out on this unique and unforgettable experience in the great outdoors.

Sign up now and let's make some unforgettable memories together!
