Directions to the Loco Challenge

DIRECTIONS

All distances start and finish in Butte Meadows, Ca.

From Chico, take HWY 32 (towards Forest Ranch/Butte Meadows). When you take the right on to Humboldt Ave to Butte Meadows set your odometer to zero and clock 4.3 miles. That will put you at, or very close to, the start line, on the left. 

From Susanville/Chester areas, from HWY 32, when you turn left on to Humboldt Rd to Butte Meadows set your odometer to zero and clock 4.3 miles. That will put you at, or very close to, the start line, on the left. 

If you get confused, look for lots of other vehicles parked alongside the road, you are in the right spot. If you get really confused and you hit the Bambi Inn, make a u-turn and drive 1 mile back the way you came, towards HWY 32, on Humboldt. Now the start/finish line will be on your right.

For those coming from Chico, you will loose cell service shortly after hitting HWY 32. Put your directions in to your GPS before leaving!!! For those coming from Susanville/Chester area, you will loose cell service shortly after leaving Chester. Input your directions before leaving home or else you might not make it.
